In addition to ovarian hormone function testing and a uterine cavity and tubal patency test there are several diagnostic tests that can be performed to pinpoint the cause of infertility in women.

We may recommend a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) or Echovist. If we find anything abnormal with the uterus, ovaries, or fallopian tubes from either of those procedures, we may recommend an ultrasound, sonohysterogram, a hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, or tubal surgery.
