Embryo Freezing

Embryo freezing is the preservation, by freezing, of any additional fertilized-eggs (embryos) you produce. These embryos can be thawed out and transferred in the future.

"After going through the daily injections, blood tests, ultrasounds, and finally the egg retrieval, we found out we only had one egg. Dr. Roth called me after hours to explain the results and at one point he said, 'all you need is one egg and one sperm.' Obviously not the most optimal situation, but his reassurance helped us get through the weekend. One embryo made it to the next cell stages and was to be implanted the following day. We were overwhelmed and tried to remain cautiously optimistic. I didn't get out of bed for four days and did everything Dr. Roth suggested."
